failure 3: Dye Splat
Test piece from a long scarf warp from years ago, woven in a checkerboard monk's belt pattern that it turns out originates in the Philippines and is known as Binakol. I stopped making this pattern after having a great conversation with a Filipino weaver on Instagram, and ended up teaching her how to weave this pattern. Tried my best to dye my own yarn, hence the dye splat.
All proceeds from this piece go towards funding my return trip to New Orleans to deinstall my latest and largest piece, "Veiled."
