Visible Mending Private Lesson

Darning is the technique of mending a hole in cloth with a needle and thread alone. The process incorporates basic stitching and weaving to create beautiful, functional repairs. With a visible mending approach, we learn the basics on a provided fabric sample, incorporating embroidery stitches, weaving patterns, and color theory along the way.

This two-hour private lesson can take place virtually or at my studio in Hartford, CT. All materials, including a take-home mending kit, are included. Sign up individually or with friends!
